Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The merge happens entirely in your browser, so the documents stay on your device. There is nothing to delete afterwards because nothing was ever sent.
Is there a file size or page limit?
There is no fixed limit — the practical ceiling is your device's memory. Very large scanned documents may take a few seconds and use noticeable memory while merging.
Will merging reduce the quality of my pages?
No. Pages are copied across as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. The file size of the result is roughly the sum of the inputs.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then merge. The tool will tell you if a file is protected instead of failing silently.
Does the order of the files matter?
Yes — the result follows the list from top to bottom. Use the up and down arrows next to each file to arrange them before merging.
